On January 18, 2010, OESF (Open Embedded Software Foundation) visited IVC to boot the OESF Lab in . The OESF laboratory will take duty in maintaining the Embedded Master (EM), integrating the contributed updates, publish the release.

“OESF is definitely confident not only in technical competence of IVC, but also potential of development of OESF in ”, said Mr.Masataka Miura, chairman of OESF.  

Found in 2/2009 with leading company in embedded system, OESF is focusing on developing Embedded Master relying on the open source famous platform Android, which allows system developer to be able to develop and deploy embedded system at a lowest cost and most effective.

Recognized as an potential country with young population, technology ability, and impressive growing economy, Viet Nam is considered is the strategic stride of OESF in expanding its activities into the South East Asia.  

 Mr.Takeda Yoichi, General Director of IVC, unveiled, “OESF Lab will officially operate in April 2010. And this is just the initial step to promote Viet Nam to be a center of OESF in South East Asia ”.

■ Embedded Master -EM

OESF has been developing EM basing on the famous open source platform Android of Google. The OESF members have been working closing to build a common framework for embedded system. With EM, developing and deploying embedded system becomes more easy and effective.
